Fall Drama Classes in Calgary for Homeschoolers ages 8-14
The word autumn comes from the ancient Etruscan root autu- and has within it connotations of the passing of the year. Autumn marks a transition in seasons where many people turn inward, both physically and mentally. Since it is the season of the primary harvest, what better way to celebrate the autumn than to harvest the bounty of riches within?
Where something ends, there is a new beginning. Theatre A Go-Go offers the tools to write the chapter of new beginnings as active participants express themselves with confidence, through fun Drama/Theatre Arts Classes. Register your loved one(s) and celebrate the bounty of riches within!

WHAT: ADVENTURES WITH GREEK MYTHOLOGY - Imagine Ancient Greece where the nature of the world and its origins are explained through myths and shed light on a civilization that has influenced modern civilization. In a series of fun-filled drama classes, players will begin with self-development drama activities in order to expand their vocal and body expressive tools. With this enriched self-awareness they will then develop their communication skills through Storytelling, Stagecraft, and Greek Theatre and Performing Arts techniques. On the last day of classes players will share their Theatre and Performing Arts skills with confidence, by presenting a Greek Myth. This Celebration of Learning presentation is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play. These classes are connected to the Alberta Education Language Arts and Drama curriculum, and include studies in: storytelling, team building, presentation, problem solving, creativity, vocal and body training, and public speaking skills.
