Join the Spring Break Theatre A Go-Go players for a special Celebration of learning and see how we PLAY!!
This is an opportunity for ages 7-13 to share their Performing Arts skills developed over the week long Camp. We have been expanding our awareness and knowledge of; body and vocal expression; and developing a character in order to share a story with confidence.
WHAT: TOTO: THE REAL STORY OF OZ by P. Gail Whiteford - Imagine the wonderful world of Oz and the adventures of the characters that live there. Through Storytelling, Movement and Performing Arts techniques, players will enrich their communication skills by sharing, with confidence, a Theatre adaptation of the famous children’s novel The Wizard of Oz written by L. Frank Baum. This Celebration of Learning is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play.

Director: Tanya Lukenoff, Artistic Director of Theatre A Go-Go, is a performer, instructor, writer and director. Her training has taken her around the world to work with masters in Classical European Theatre. She has acted in Theatre, Film and Television for over twenty years and performed in Festivals and Theatres around Alberta, Toronto and London, England. Tanya has been an educator since 1991 and a learning through the Arts instructor since 1996. She has completed many projects in schools, integrating drama into the curriculum and instructed at various companies throughout Alberta.
