Join the Winter Theatre A Go-Go players for a special Celebration of learning performance and see how we PLAY!!

This is an opportunity for ages 9-12 to share their Performing Arts skills developed over the 9 week Drama program.

We have been integrating the Alberta Education Language Arts, and Drama curriculum into the development of vocal and body expression; and expanding our awareness and knowledge of developing a character, in order to share a story with confidence.

WHAT: ADVENTURES WITH KING ARTHUR - Adapted by P. Gail Whiteford

Imagine the land of Camelot where Knights, Damsels, Magicians and Dragons struggle between that which is right and wrong. Through Storytelling and movement, players will enrich their communication skills by expressing their character and an adaptation of the Legend of King Arthur.

WHERE: Downstairs in the Morpheus Rehearsal Centre at the Parkdale Community Centre – 3512 5Ave. N.W.

INVESTMENT: Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted to help build a Production fund; to acquire a lighting and sound system.

Director: Tanya Lukenoff is the Artistic Director of Theatre A Go-Go, and a performer, instructor, writer and director. Her training has taken her around the world to work with masters in Classical European Theatre. She has acted in Theatre, Film and Television for over twenty years and performed in Festivals and Theatres around Alberta, Toronto and London, England. Tanya has been an educator since 1991 and a learning through the Arts instructor since 1996. She has completed many projects in schools, integrating drama into the curriculum and instructed at various companies throughout Alberta.
