As each season sets the stage for the next; nature is very skilled and accepting of the “what is” and using it to unfold the “what can be.” Winter is the season of introversion and contemplation, as it brings many changes to the world, and provides the setting for renewal. 

Theatre A Go-Go offers the tools for active participants to express themselves with confidence through fun Drama Classes! As we transition in to this season of “What can be”, register your loved one(s) and provide the setting for renewal where they can meet new friends and have fun while gaining confidence in physical, emotional and verbal literacy!

In these uncertain times, there is one thing that we are certain of and that is the importance of safety for all. We will be adhering to our COVID -19 Protocols & Policies document. This document has been developed in conjunction with the most recent documents as provided by Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the archived sector-specific guidance documents from previous stages. FRIDAY AFTERNOON DRAMA CLASSES – CBE EARLY DISMISSAL

WHO: Ages 7 – 12

WHAT: ADVENTURES WITH THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVES – Imagine London 1897 where heroic mice embark on their greatest mystery case yet by pitting wits against old arch-enemies who want to become supreme rulers of all mousedom. In a fun-filled series of drama classes, players will begin with self-development drama activities in order to expand their vocal and body expressive tools. With this enriched self-awareness they will then develop their communication skills through Storytelling, Theatre and Performing Arts techniques. On the last day of Classes, players will share their Theatre and Performing Arts skills with confidence, by presenting an adaptation of the children's book series "Basil of Baker Street" by Eve Titus. This Celebration of Learning is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play.

WHEN: Fridays, 1:15pm-4:15pm from Jan. 7 - Mar. 18, 2022 (no class Feb. 18 and from 1:15 until 6:15pm on Mar. 18) Pre care available from 12:15-1:15pm and post care available from 4:15-5:15pm, for an additional fee.

INVESTMENT: Discount = $270/player, if registered by Dec. 20 and for members of the same family. Or Regular = $300/player

In a fun-filled session of drama classes, players will begin with self-development drama activities in order to expand their vocal and body expressive tools. With this enriched self-awareness they will develop their communication skills through Storytelling, Theatre and Performing Arts techniques. On the last day of Classes, players will share their Theatre and Performing Arts skills with confidence, by presenting an adaptation of the detective novels, “The Enola Holmes Mysteries”. This Celebration of Learning is for friends, family and anyone who would like to see how we play.

WHEN: Sundays, 2:50pm-5:50pm from Jan. 9 - Mar. 13, 2022 (no class Feb. 20 and from 12:00pm until 6:00pm on Mar. 13)
